A tattoo is a creative and personal process between you and your tattoo artist, where preparation, trust, and communication play a big role. That's precisely why it's important that you know what to expect before, during, and after your appointment.

In our studio in Innsbruck, we intentionally work without any hustle and bustle. Every appointment is planned individually and tailored to you, so there's enough time for consultation, design, and clean execution. This page will help you to understand this process better and prepare for it optimally.

Here's how your appointment works, step by step.

1. Arriving at the studio

You arrive at the studio on time for your appointment and check in briefly. If you are unsure or running late, please call us. If the entrance door is locked, please also call.

2. ID & quick check-in

We will check your photo ID and briefly go over all the important points from your consent form. This ensures that everything is correct and complete.

3. Motiv & gemeinsame Abstimmung

Dein Tattoo Motiv wird gemeinsam mit dir entwickelt und individuell ausgearbeitet. Vielleicht hast du uns vorab schon eine Idee geschickt. Wenn nicht, ist das überhaupt kein Problem. Zusammen mit deinem Artist entsteht vor Ort dein persönliches Custom Design. Größe, Platzierung und alle Details werden dabei direkt mit dir abgestimmt, sodass am Ende alles genau deinen Vorstellungen entspricht. Die Ausarbeitung dauert in der Regel etwa 30 bis 60 Minuten.

4. Preparation & Session Start

The skin is prepared, the work area is set up, and your artist begins the tattooing process. We work calmly, with focus, and at the highest level of hygiene.

5. Breaks during the session

During the tattooing session, short breaks are possible at any time. We will take your circulation, your feelings and your pain threshold into consideration.

6. Conclusion & Care Instructions

After the piercing, your tattoo will be cared for and you will receive all the important aftercare instructions for proper healing to take home with you. We also sell the right products for this in the tattoo studio.

The goal is always a clearly structured, relaxed process where you know exactly what's happening – without stress and without surprises.

Don't ask everyone around you, but make up your own own, clear decision. Your tattoo will be with you your entire life, and that's precisely why it should be something that truly suits you and reflects you, not something that others expect from you.

🪪 Identification & Age Regulations – Please Note

For your appointment, please absolutely bring a valid photographic identification as this is required for identification at every appointment.

Should you Under 18 years old be (tattooing possible from age 16), is the photo ID from the guardian mandatory and the appointment is only with a Guardians possible. In this case, you must Both individuals sign a consent form.

😴 Restful sleep & physical preparation

Make sure that before your tattoo appointment to get enough and restful sleep, especially during longer daytime sessions, you need the energy to get through the session relaxed.

Please come not with a hangover for your appointment. Refrain from alcohol the day before, as it can strain your circulation and negatively affect bleeding and your pain perception.

You should also avoid overly strenuous physical exertion just before.

A rested, stable body ensures a significantly more pleasant tattoo session and a better overall result.

👕 Clothing & Comfort During Your Session

Depending on the size and level of detail of your tattoo, your appointment could last for several hours, so Comfort during the session is especially important.

Please carry Comfortable clothing, ideally in dark colours (preferably black), as there can occasionally be paint splatters during work, which cannot always be completely removed from clothing.

🥪 Important before your appointment – definitely eat

Please come Not on an empty stomach to your tattoo appointment.

It is extremely important, especially during longer sessions or all-day appointments, that your body has enough energy to keep your circulation stable and to get through the session relaxed.

If you have a longer appointment, you are welcome to bring some small snacks with you, such as:

• Something light for in between

🌞 Skin preparation before a tattoo

Please note that your health situation can have a significant impact on your tattoo appointment and the healing process. Clock How long will my tattoo really take?

The duration of your tattoo heavily depends on the size, style, and most importantly, the level of detail of the motif. Every tattoo is unique, which is why time estimates should always be understood as a rough guide.

As a guideline, one can say that in a day session we have approximately one A4 page area create. A half-day session accordingly corresponds to approximately one A5 area. Fine, detailed or realistic motifs can take considerably more time than simple designs.

Larger projects are split into multiple sessions. These can take place on consecutive days (2-3) or with a one to two week break, depending on healing and the design progression. If the same area needs to be reworked, as is sometimes the case with cover-ups for the next layers to lighten or obscure, a healing time of approximately 4 to 6 weeks sensible, before continuing this work.

Breaks are possible at any time throughout the session and are completely normal. We always adapt to you, your body, and your pain perception to ensure the session remains as comfortable as possible.

A typical day session with us lasts from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm. Depending on the body area, a rough guide is: one outer upper arm is equivalent to approximately one to 1.5 daily sessions, a complete arm to about 5 to 8 sessions, and a back to approximately 6 to 10 sessions.

🚗 Getting there & Punctuality

Should you Problems with the journey or finding a parking space to have, we ask you, us to contact by phone in good time.

🛠 Touch-up and healing

In rare cases, during the healing process, small areas of the tattoo may not heal evenly and re-stitching becomes necessary.

Please report in this case no later than 3 months after the date of insertion with us, so that your entitlement to a free rework under warranty is retained.

Unfortunately, the warranty can no longer be considered after this period has expired.

This way, together we ensure that your tattoo heals permanently clean and looks perfect.

🚨 Healing Problems & Aftercare

Should any problems arise during healing, we are always your first point of contact. Please contact us directly and ideally send us a photo via WhatsApp, so that we can get an accurate picture and recommend a suitable solution for you.

In most cases, such issues can already be resolved with the right Aftercare and care avoid from the outset.

Doctors and hospitals are not always the right point of contact for typical tattoo healing processes, as these are usually very specific skin reactions related to tattooing.

Therefore, the following applies: Contact us first – we'll help you expertly and directly as specialists.

Welche Körperreaktionen sind nach dem Stechen normal?

Many customers worry unnecessarily after getting a tattoo. Certain skin reactions are normal completely normal and part of the natural healing process.

A Redness It is completely normal for the tattooed area to be red immediately after the piercing. This is caused by the mechanical stress on the skin and increased blood flow in the tissue, as the body reacts to the „mini-injury“ and initiates healing. I The healing process often causes the skin to itch. This is a sign that new skin cells are forming and the wound is closing. Even though it's uncomfortable, please do not scratch under any circumstances, as this can lead to pigment loss or inflammation.

These scabs protect the fresh tattoo until the skin underneath has fully regenerated. They must never be scratched off, as this can damage the ink and the skin.
